Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Reflection Space ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Lalune ("we", "us", or "our"), the developer of Reflection Space.

2. Description of Service

Reflection Space is a personal reflection and mindfulness application designed to help you:

  • • Create and manage personal reflections and journal entries
  • • Build reflection routines and patterns
  • • Track your mindfulness journey through milestones
  • • Optionally use AI-powered features to enhance your reflection experience

The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Reflection Space. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the App.

4. User Responsibilities

When using Reflection Space, you agree to:

  • • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • • Not use the App to store or transmit harmful, illegal, or offensive content
  • • Keep your device and iCloud account secure
  • • Comply with Apple's App Store Terms of Service

5. Your Content

Reflection Space allows you to create, store, and manage personal content including reflections, notes, and preferences ("Your Content").

You Own Your Content: You retain full ownership of all content you create within Reflection Space. We do not claim any ownership rights over Your Content.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and any consequences of storing or sharing it. We do not monitor, review, or access Your Content except as necessary to provide the service or as required by law.

6. iCloud & Data Sync

Reflection Space uses Apple's iCloud service to sync your data across devices. By using this feature:

  • • You agree to Apple's iCloud Terms of Service
  • • You understand that your data is stored in your personal iCloud account
  • • You are responsible for maintaining adequate iCloud storage
  • • We are not responsible for data loss due to iCloud service issues

7. AI Features & Third-Party Services

Reflection Space offers optional AI-powered features. When using these features:

  • • You may choose to connect third-party AI services (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) using your own API keys
  • • You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of any third-party AI provider you use
  • • We are not responsible for the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content
  • • AI responses are for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional advice

Important: AI features are not a substitute for professional mental health support. If you are experiencing mental health difficulties, please seek help from a qualified professional.

8. Subscriptions & Purchases

Reflection Space may offer premium features through in-app purchases or subscriptions.

Payment

  • • All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store
  • • Prices are displayed in your local currency and include applicable taxes
  • • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation

Subscriptions

  • • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
  • • No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods

Refunds

All refund requests must be directed to Apple through their standard refund process, as we do not have access to your payment information.

9. Intellectual Property

Reflection Space and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Lalune and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Reflection Space is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • • Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • • Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any content

Not Medical Advice: Reflection Space is a personal reflection tool and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any mental health condition. The App does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lalune shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • • Loss of data or content
  • • Loss of profits or revenue
  • • Personal injury or emotional distress
  • • Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lalune and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Reflection Space at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by:

  • • Posting the updated Terms on this page
  • • Updating the "Last updated" date
  • • Providing notice within the App when appropriate

Your continued use of Reflection Space after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
