Automatically Collected Data
We collect limited analytics data locally on your device to improve your experience:

Important: All analytics data is processed and stored locally on your device. We do not transmit this data to external analytics services.
iCloud Sync
Reflection Space uses Apple's iCloud to sync your data across your devices. This means:
- • Your reflections, patterns, and preferences are stored in your personal iCloud account
- • Data syncs automatically between your Apple devices signed into the same iCloud account
- • Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple
- • We do not have access to your iCloud data
You can manage iCloud sync in your device's Settings under iCloud > Apps Using iCloud.
AI Features & Third-Party Services
Reflection Space offers optional AI-powered features to enhance your reflection experience. When you choose to use these features:
Your Choice: AI features are entirely optional. You can use Reflection Space without ever enabling AI functionality.
How AI Features Work
- • On-Device AI: When available, we prioritize Apple's on-device intelligence which processes data locally without sending it to external servers.
- • Third-Party AI Providers: For advanced AI features, you may choose to connect your own API key from providers like OpenAI or Anthropic. When using these services:
- • Only the specific content you choose to analyze is sent to the AI provider
- • Your API key is stored securely in your device's Keychain
- • Data is transmitted directly between your device and the AI provider
- • We do not store or have access to your conversations with AI providers

Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information:
- • All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure SwiftData framework
- • Sensitive information (like API keys) is stored in the iOS Keychain
- • iCloud data is encrypted using Apple's security infrastructure
- • We do not operate external servers that store your personal data
Your Rights & Control
You have full control over your data:
- • Access: All your data is visible within the app
- • Export: You can share individual reflections from within the app
- • Delete: You can delete any reflection, pattern, or routine at any time
- • Account Deletion: Uninstalling the app removes all local data. To remove iCloud data, use Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage
Children's Privacy
Reflection Space is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
